The Costa Foundation is an amazing charity which aims to improve the lives of boys & girls in coffee growing communities all over the world. Coffee is at the heart of Costa's business and without the farmers and families in these communities, Costa would be nothing. The foundation aims to give back to these communities by building schools for boys and girls to provide them with a safe, quality education. Not only does the Foundation provide support to the people who supply Costa with coffee but also to as many coffee growing communities as we can. The ultimate aim of the Costa Foundation is to eradicate poverty in these communities and I personally want to help do just that.

As you probably know by now, I'm not exactly the CEO of Costa, I have worked for Costa for just over a year now as a Barista and my job is one of the many passions I have in life. So, what am I doing to give back? I'm going skydiving!

On 29th July 2017, myself and 13 others will be skydiving in St Andrews to raise money for the Foundation. We're taking the leap of a lifetime to help build new schools or extend existing ones; invest in water supplies and develop land for families to grow crops among many other great things which help to support these communities.

The money raised will make a huge difference in these communities. For a little more information on how these funds will be used and to find out what your donation is worth, check out the list below

£15 -Textbooks and stationery for 1 child for 1 year in Guatemala
£40 -A student's bench and table for 10 years in Peru
£200 -A nursery school teacher's monthly salary in Vietnam

If you could spare a small donation of even £1 or more, it all adds up very quickly and I would be incredibly grateful! Hope you guys can give me a hand (and maybe a push out of the plane) in helping this amazing charity and allow them to continue with the great work they do everyday in making a difference in people’s lives.
