Horizon is an innovative and ground breaking project for young carers and their families across County Durham.

The service supports young adult carers aged 14-25 and their families aiming to increase access to services, improve confidence, promote well being and increase choices in order to achieve their aspirations.

We are trying to raise money for our Young Adult Carers Service to provide funding for much needed activities. Activities are very important to our service as they provide a break for the young carer and give them a chance to meet other young carers, reduce social isolation and promote inclusion.

So, to raise money our Project workers Jamie, Becky and Kaylee have volunteered themselves to snorkel with sharks at Blackpool Aquarium. We would like to ask everyone to be as generous as possible and help us to raise as much as we can for the service.
