Story
On the 26th of December 2017 at 6:47am we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Hugo James into the world weighing 4lb 3oz, he was born sleeping peacefully.
We want to raise money so that he is never forgotten. We are hoping to raise enough money to fund a cuddle cot - Also known as a cold cot, this specialist piece of equipment is designed to keep baby cool to allow parents to spend up to 72 hours with their baby. They are designed to fit in to a moses basket to keep the environment homely at such a traumatic time. Any additional money will also be used to provide hospitals with memory boxes so that grieving parents can remember their angel babies.
Charities like 4Louis provided us with a specialist cuddle cot and a moses basket to allow us to spend special days with our son Hugo and create precious memories that we will always treasure. We also received a memory box for Hugo which at such a traumatic time meant that we could take photographs on a memory card, impressions of his feet and hands and locks of his hair.
The work that these charities do mean that for parents like us, the loss of a child can be made more bearable and we would love to give something back.
Thank you,
Naomi, Jake and baby Hugo.
