    WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Since it's establishment in 2015, and thanks to Huntly Family Centre, we have been able to use a room and meet up on a fortnightly basis. However, due to increased numbers and demand for more groups and frequency, we need to relocate to a permanent premises of our own, in order to continue to provide and expand support and activities for our members.

A building on Huntly Industrial Estate has recently become available and the trustees and committee feel that it would be ideal to become Huntly ASDitude's permanent home. Our rental offer has been accepted by Aberdeenshire Council and we are currently working to secure the lease. The building in question is well-suited for us in a number of ways – its location means that it is easily accessible to those who would use it and the enclosed car parking area is a real asset when dealing with children who may not have a great an awareness of road safety.

We had a huge fundraising drive in 2017 to raise money for rent, deposit and other expected costs associated with this plan and also funds for outings, events and equipment for the children, however, the £500 needed for legal and professional costs have come as a bit of a shock - and that's where you come in!

Huntly ASDitude has only been able to provide it's much-needed service through the phenomenal generosity of local people who have donated their time and money to help those in need within their community.

With your help, Huntly ASDitude can continue to make the immeasurable difference to the lives of people in need in your local area! Thank you!

Simply being able to talk to those who have already been through the same process has been an incredible comfort, and the wealth of knowledge on possible ways to approach any issues is a resource to be treasured. The advice of members at Huntly ASDitude has seen me through some particularly difficult moments.
