Hi. It’s time to don the trainers for GNR 2018. I have the privilege of running this year for the Chloe and Liam Togetherforever Trust. On the 22nd May 2017, Twenty Two innocent, fun loving lives were taken away from their families, friends and communities. Nothing can change that. The lives of two of those taken, Chloe Rutherford and Liam Curry, were from our town and have truly shocked so many lives. How the families have coped is beyond me and to simply put a pair of trainers on and raise a few quid for this trust is something I can not imagine not doing this year. The trust has been set up by both of the families who we know personally and it supports, with the direction of an independent trustee committee, to support worthy young people who have sporting and musical dreams. What better way to honour Chloe and Liam than to keep raising funds for such a fantastically positive cause. Chloe and Liam’s families will always have our families support, always.
