In loving memory of James Christopher Loughran - 14-01-1982 - 02-04-2018
It is with great sorrow that I have to tell all our friends that on Easter Monday after a long and valiant fight with depression my Darling James took his own life.
His light shone too brightly for this world.
26th April - 3.15pm, Canley Crematorium, Coventry
All welcome to the wake to James’s parents’ (Jim & Maggie) home afterwards.
Dress code: whatever you feel comfortable in but please wear something red - as much or as little as you like.
Please inform Claudia, Jim or Maggie if you are able to attend.
Family flowers only.
We are asking for donations to the Foundation for Endangered Languages who give out grants for small community projects all over the world, so the money goes where it is most needed. This was a cause dear to James’s heart and the money we raise will be his last great contribution to language documentation.
Thank you for all your support.

We worked with James on several translation projects. We will always remember his professionalism and above all his humanity. Condolences to the family from all the team at Language Buró.

I caught up with an old friend from Earlsdon school and he informed me about this. I had not seen James for many years - all the same he was a lovely chap and very sorry to hear about this.

I'm a class friend from Finham Park. I'd moved from Buckinghamshire and James helped me to feel at home. A fellow linguist I love your choice of charities. Best wishes, Hugh Watkin.
