Story
Our brother Neil passed away after a fatal motorbike accident at the end of June. He was airlifted to St George's hospital by London Air Ambulance and treated in the Neuro ICU ward for 8 days, but despite their best efforts they were unable to save his life.
Without London Air Ambulance, a charity which operates on donations, Neil would not have even been given the chance for treatment.
Whilst at St George's NICU he was given the best care possible with all of the required health care professionals around him 24/7, often in numbers. All of our family, relatives and his close friends were treated with compassion, empathy, and understanding with the opportunity to visit and sit with him throughout the day, and frequent updates on treatment and his conditions. We had full trust in all of the decisions made and the standard of care was the best anyone could have asked for.
We will be splitting the donation money between London Air Ambulance and St George's NICU which gave Neil the best chance of survival - in the hope that we can help support these irreplaceable services running at such a high standard.
Thank you in advance for your donations.

5 years agoWe just wanted to give a heartfelt thanks from the Manley family and Neil's close friends, to all of you who were able to donate. You managed to raise over six times the original target. Aside from the huge amount of money, the number of donations and kind messages means a lot to us. A sincere thanks to those of you who did not know Neil personally but still donated. Finally we hope that you can all keep Neil in your hearts and memories for the years to come so that he can continue to live on in this world. Hong, Clara, Chris, Jen, Alex, Mel
