Weʼve raised £310 to purchase a wheelchair and uniforms for a young Gambian boy, Alieu Baejie in order for him to be able to access education.

    Story

In December 2016 Foday and I made a promise to the young boy seen in the picture that we would raise funds to enable him to get an education. Alieu Baejie has no access to schooling at the moment due to his disability. He is unable to walk and desperately requires the use of a wheelchair if he is to access an education to which he is entitled. I hope my friends can support me in raising enough money to purchase and ship a wheelchair to The Gambia for him in time for the next academic year and also provide him with school uniform.

£50.10 raised through the sale of cakes. I'm very grateful for the support given by pupils in baking and buying.
