Story
Many local residents were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of the sudden death of Terry. A well known, and upbeat member of our community. The compassionate response on social media to the news about Terry is testament to his popularity. We would like to remember him through some sort of memorial or by making a collective donation to an appropriate charity. If you would like to be part of this, please make a donation. Our current plan is to have a small working group on this in collaboration with the parish council.

6 years ago5 of us from our working group for Terry’s memorial met last week following approval from the Parish Council to commemorate him in some sort of memorial in our village. We brought many ideas to the table including those that other people from the village have put forward. We intend to shortlist these to what is viable and practical. Our fundraising page has reached a staggering £1454, and what we can do will depend on what we have raised. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far to help us remember such an amazing member of our community.

7 years agoWOW! What an amazing response, and just goes to show what a wonderful man we are remembering and what an incredible community we are part of. We completely smashed the initial target of £500, so we've been ambitious and pushed the target up to £1000. Thank you everyone who has donated.

My wife and I were very shocked to hear of Terry's passing. He was one of the best and a great asset to Upper Beeding. He will be sorely missed.
