My name is Robert Brown and I was personally sadenned by the struggle of these children fighting cancer.

Being a father myself it breaks my heart to think of these families.

The charity in which I am supporting is called Aspanob and is a local charity in Palma de Malllorca, whom hope to give comfort and support to these children and any help which can be given is very much appreciated.

For this awareness I have decided over the next 12 - 18 months to train a fittness regime and take part in numerous sporting triathlon events in the build up to what will be ultimately be to take part in and complete (survive) a full Iron Man Competition.

What makes this challenge harder for me is that training for this is something completely new to me. I started to run last year and cycle early this year. Swimming started in June 2017.

7 Days cycling through whats locally called, "The North Coast 500"
This is 500 Miles of britains tallest mountain ranges and most beautiful and rugged scenery.

I have the pleasure of being joined by 2 x Iron Man finisher Dr. Oscar Merino to keep me on the right track.

The triathlon event will run on 14th October 2017 where I will need to:

Swim 1.2 mile
Bike 56 mile
Run. 13.1 mile

I have the pleasure of being joined by friend and Olomouc Triathlon finished Mr. Gary Miller who will be taking part in his first half iron man challenge.

With a date TBC - Sometime 2018
Full Iron Man will be scheduled.
Location of event is still to be decided.

Bike 114 mile
Run. 26.2 mile
