Weʼve raised £790 to In memory of our beautiful angel baby Isabella Mary Casey. Split between 3 very good causes.

Funded on Monday, 6th August 2018

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

Our Beautiful baby girl Isabella Mary Casey was born asleep on 3rd January at 6.10pm. She was born at 20 weeks gestation which meant she could not survive. On Wednesday 7th February we will be laying her to rest in the baby garden at Dukinfiend crem. We are having a private graveside ceremony with just our parents and Isabella's sisters. It's been so difficult and we never thought we would be planning a funeral for one of our children. We are so overwelmed with the support we have recieved. We appreciate every single well wish, gift and even just being in peoples thoughts. We have decided to set up a page to raise money and split between 3 good causes that really helped us through this hard time. I've set up as a crowdfunding so i am able to split the money. Please dont feel you have to donate (especially if you have spent money on flowers etc). We appreciate any donation and can say they are 100% going to really good causes that will help people in the same situation as us.

Glossopdale Angel gowns- They have sent the most beautiful dress & wrap for Isabella. As she is too small for normal baby clothes they make angel gowns from donated wedding dresses. They also sent a heart for us to keep which matches the dress.

The Harebell Suite at Tameside Hospital- We are so grateful to the way we were treated here during Isabella's birth and the time after. It's a suite on the labour ward which has more of a home like feel. There's a lounge and they provide cold cots so you can spend as much time as you need with your baby before you leave. They were supportive and provided us with keepsakes, photos, hand and footprints.

Sands- the stillbirth and neonatal death charity. They provide support including information packs and a support line. They also provided a lovely memory box including 2 teddies (one to keep and one to put with Isabella), blanket, poems and other things. I understand they have helped a lot of people through very difficult times.

Thanks everyone for all the support we have received.
