Weʼve raised £615 to assist the family of Jacob Billington who sadly last his life in the Birmingham stabbings in the early hours of Sunday morning. RIP Jacob!

Story
I have never met Jacob or his family but I am appalled and saddened to learn of his passing whilst visiting Birmingham with friends on Saturday and being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It must be heartbreaking for his family and friends and they should rightly be allowed to grieve in peace. All genuine "Brummies" & West Midland fold would all send their condolences to the family & if this fund helps out the family in any way it possibly can then it will go to a very worthy cause. No parents should have to deal with the pain that I am sure they are now and my heart goes out to them. May you rest in peace Jacob.

3 years agoI have this afternoon received further instruction from the DC at West Midlands Police who has advised me that the Family of Jacob Billington would like the funds, which were very kindly donated, to a charity called "hundred lives". This transfer will be made in the next few days!!

4 years agoI have, quite rightly, had people contact me about when the family or charity, of the families choice, will receive the funds I collected on Jacob's behalf. I have an e-mail thread where I am in contact with a Detective Inspector of West Mids Police, who was the family liaison officer in this case, to ask for further instructions. This money will be paid over as soon as I get an answer. I am also in contact with a reporter from Global Radio who I will ask to help if I have no answer by Monday 16th November.
