Dear Friends

My wee sister Lynne or Seonna Lennon as most of you know her, died on Good Friday 14th April after a hard fought battle with pneumonia and septicaemia. Lynne had a long term condition called fibromyalgia which made it difficult for her body to fight infection and she sadly could fight it no more. We, her family are devastated and cannot imagine life without her.

Lynne was the most generous and giving person I know. She loved her dogs, and her life with her husband Stephen in Dornoch. She was heartbroken that she couldn't have children, but spent her energies in making sure she was a great auntie to other people's kids.

Lynne was a warm and open person who would open her door to anyone in need. She was a volunteer for the SSPCA and loved her fur babies. She would empty her freezer, purse and heart to provide for her friends in need. Now, I am asking you for help for Lynne and her family. Like most people when they are young, Lynne did not consider the future or her death and had no life insurance, and as her condition worsened it was harder and more costly to arrange this.

Please can I ask you if rather than flowers or other tributes you are able to donate some money to help her husband with funeral costs. If the target is reached, money will also be donated in memory of Lynne to her favourite charities, SSPCA, Dogs Trust and Fibromyalgia Action UK.

My family and Lynne/Seonna's husband Stephen already appreciate all the very kind messages you have sent to us which has been a great comfort to us.
