My son Cameron is 8 years old and has the disability of Global Development Delay. 4 years ago he joined Duo Gymnastics Club in Haddington. The club consistently impress me with the level of care and attention they provide to Cameron and their supportive approach has been a key element that encourages Cameron to grow in confidence and successfully tackle many of the challenges that life presents to him. He always looks forward to his weekly class at the Duo Gymnastics Club.

The Club based in Haddington, East Lothian have been fund raising for a new vaulting table for a number of years, but they just never seem to have enough to purchase it and ironically when they finally reach their target the equipment has increased in cost.

To express my sincere thanks to the Club, I have set myself the objective to raise enough funds for the new vaulting table by swimming across the Firth of Forth on the 22nd September. The swim starts from South Queensferry leaving at Hawes pier, swimming along by the rail bridge to finish at the old pier at North Queensferry a distance of 1.4 miles.
