On the 14th of February this year, despite a courageous and Olympic spirited fight, many of us lost a good friend with the passing of Jane Olive.

An active member for over 7 years, many of us have spent happy times with the her on and off the water. Netley was and continues to be a place of significance for both her husband Spod and daughter Katy.

Unfortunately she never got to see the new clubhouse take shape, neither will we have the opportunity to share wine and a fire in the camping field, but as a tribute to Jane the committee has agreed that we mount a bell in the new club house in commemoration.

Any surplus raised will be overseen by the Committee and put towards the support of youth events at the club. A cause Jane would have supported.
