Jasmine was born a healthy baby and reaching all her milestones until the age of 4 months old when she started having seizures, anything up to 20 per day.
She was transferred to Great Ormond Street Hospital due to being unable to control them.

Jasmine has been through a lot for a young child extensively investigated, this has included muscle and skin biopsy’s, scans, lumber punctures, EEG's, repeated blood tests but still her condition remains undiagnosed.

She has now been enrolled onto a study called the 100k genome which tests for very rare diseases, results can take up to 2 years to come back.
Her current diagnosis are Epileptic Encephalopathy,
Severe Intellectual disability - she is non verbal,
Secondary Microcephaly,
Four limb motor disorder with choreoatheoid movements and orolingual dyskinesia,
PEG fed due to unsafe swallow - dysphagia.

Jasmine is now 5 years old and attends a specialist school Amwell View, which she loves.
Despite all her complications she is a very happy little girl.

All donations will go towards funding a bespoke wheelchair for Jasmine so that she may be more comfortable day to day and enjoy experiences like spending a day at the seaside and being able to go onto the beach and be near the sea.
