Lots of children in The Gambia do not get an education because the schools do not have enough funds to take more children than they already have. 30 to a classroom and only half a days education because that classroom is needed for another 30 children in the afternoon. With the money, Wullinkamma Lower Basic school, could build more classrooms and employ more teachers so no one misses out.
The Bakoteh SOS Children's village looks after children from babies to young adults, provides them with a foster home, an education and even a career, training them to do many different jobs.
