Alhamdulillah as many of you may be aware, I have been serving as an Imaam at Jamia Masjid Noor in Huddersfield for almost 3 years now.

My main purpose of this post is that we have a Youth Club which opens every Saturday for all aged 8+ and has been open for just over a year. This helps to break the barrier between the youth and the Masjid and also keeps our kids from falling into the wrong things. Approximately 20 - 50 youngsters attend every week. It is free to attend. This Youth Club was set up by using 2nd hand donated items/games. Now, after a year the equipment is in really bad shape. Half of the gaming tables are broken, others are falling apart and some are no longer usable.

We're now planning to renovate our Youth Club by bringing in new equipment and also opening a library/homework club with it, to help secondary school students excel in their secular education as well as their deen.

This makeover must be completed by Sunday 17th December 2017. It requires approximately £1200 for the complete makeover.
