Story
Many of you are already aware that I am a member of the Women’s Equality Party. (WE) I have decided to help fundraise for WE by doing the Wirral Coastal Walk on 18th June. The walk is 15 miles long starting at Seacombe Ferry and finishing at Thurstaston.
‘Equality for women isn't a women's issue. When women fulfill their potential, everyone benefits. Equality means better politics, a more vibrant economy, a workforce that draws on the talents of the whole population and a society at ease with itself’
WE champions a new approach to politics;
WE are a non-partisan party, which promotes collaboration over traditional tribal politics.
WE believe that Equality works for everyone and are determined to put equality issues on the political agenda.
WE are going to achieve what years of lobbying, campaigning, protesting and politely asking has failed to.
For information regarding the Women’s Equality Party including our General Election Manifesto, please visit www.womensequality.org.uk
I am also fundraising for an organisation called The Homeless Period. This charity collects and distributes sanitary items to homeless and vulnerable women. For more information, please visit www.thehomelessperiod.com
All money raised will be split 50/50 between the Women’s Equality Party and The Homeless Period
