Story
Sarah's convenant homes (SCH) is a community of family-style foster homes in India that cares for children& young adults with medical and special needs. SCH is home to over 150 previously abandones children who have been rescued out of government orphanages that do not have the ability to adequately care for their needs.
Spread out across six-apartment-style homes that are eqipped with carers, nursing staff and house parents the children are able to receive the proper medical care they need and deserve, as well as experience love, restoration and emotional healing within a family.
In India, children with special needs are most likely to be abandoned and least likely to be adopted. We believe that every child has the right to a loving family where they can heal from the trauma of abandonment while having their dignity restored. Sarah's Covenant Homes responds to and prevents the abandonment of children with special needs by providing holistic care in foster homes to enable children to remain with, return to, or join loving families.
