Story
We are raising funds in memory of Jocelyn. We are sure that there are many worthy causes but Jocelyn really loved netball and her netball club, Phoenix and we wanted to try and leave a small legacy to show this. Jocelyn loved netball for a number of reasons - the physical activity, the connection she made with women of all ages, the lasting friendships and the fact that you didn't need to be a sporting warrior to play. Any money raised will be given to the club without restrictions but Jocelyn's husband Marc is in touch with them and hopefully there will be enough to make a difference.
Jocelyn died on 22nd June 2021 aged 49. She will be missed by all, a lot.

3 years agoHi all, Wow! What an incredible response. Thank you all so very much! We have now taken the funds and are talking to Phoenix about the best way to use the money. One suggestion, which we think Jocelyn would very much approve of, is to use the money to go towards putting new surfaces on the netball courts. Anything practical and useful, especially involving tarmac, is an amazing tribute to a much missed but still amazing woman. We'll be in touch once the details are sorted. Thank you all again. x
