    Story

On 23rd April 2018 Lees life changed forever along with the lives of his boys Ashley and Jamie who lives with him and his daughter shannon and grandchildren. After suffering neck pain for a few weeks, visiting the doctors and hospital for this pain he woke up at 4:00 am in agony and unable to move his arms and legs he shouted his sons for an ambulance, he called his mum at hospital and told her he was dying, at 9:45 am that day his body shut down, he went into cardiac arrest. We have now learned he suffered a bleed on his spine everything from the neck down is paralysed completely, this was without accident or trauma a complete freak unexplained incident. Lee now has to live with only being able to mouth words he is unable to eat, drink, breath move or do anything for him self at all he has been told this is likely to be permenent, there is hope to improve his quality of life with possibility of going to a specialist spinal unit in the future, but for now he is 11 weeks and counting in the intensive care unit at LGI. His sons who live with him are 14 & 17 they also had their lives turned upside down, left with unsecurity of what their own future will be, where will they live?, who will they live with? whats going to happen to their dad?, how will they be supported financially? For now friends and family have lived with the boys in their home with their dog booboo without giving too much information about Lees financial situation certain money is unavailble as it was to cover running Lees house and caring for the boys. I have created this page with the hopes of easing the burden for the boys carers and to allow them to keep living in their own home and to also assist with travelling to the spinal unit. It is a very long way off but he hopes to go home with nursing care to live with his boys, its whats keeping him going, any extra money raised above target would be used for his house to make it possible for him to come home. Thank you for your support. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
