    Story

On the 19th of September 2019 our world was rocked as our beautiful Joey was taken to hospital and diagnosed with a brain tumour. The next day he was taken up to kings hospital in london to have further analysis. Unfortunately after seeing many doctors and a brilliant oncology team our gorgeous boy was diagnosed with DIPG - a very rare aggressive tumour that grows in the brain stem. With a heavy heart I share that it is inoperable and that nobody has ever survived it. We have a course of treatment to improve his quality of life for what little time he has left.

Joey doesn’t know his prognosis he just knows a horrible lump called Jack is making him very poorly and we’re doing everything we can to try and make Jack go away.

When we asked Joe what his dream holiday would be, he said he wanted big sandy beaches and wanted to go out on a boat to see the fishes in the clear water. He also adores lego so legoland florida is the perfect location.

Please donate what you can to help make Joe’s dream a reality. And lastly, a massive thank you from all of Joe’s friends and family, and of course, our lovely Joe himself.

It is with most broken of hearts that I must share my darling boy became the brightest star in the sky on Saturday 14th December at 5.31pm. His battle with DIPG was short due to “Jack” being one of the most aggressive they have seen in awhile. Thank you to everyone who donated and sent kind words. Because we knew his time was limited and we couldn’t fly with him towards the end we whisked him and his family and best friends away to Center parcs for an amazing week in a treehouse. Memories that will be made for ever. 💛🌟💔💔💔💔

This amazing young man is being an absolute superstar 🌟 with his treatment and doesn’t cry or make a fuss. He’s very good at telling them all to shhhhh when he’s in there and classic line is ‘shut up and drink your gin’ he learnt that from his cousin Maddie who is a big fan of Oliver Twist! We can’t thank you all enough for your kind donations and good wishes. We have a long painful road ahead but because of all your generosity we can hopefully give Joey the holiday of his dreams! Thank you. Xxx
