Story

I coach the U12s at Moray Firth Ice Hockey club, the club has 4 age groups in the league and the league requires teams to play around 10 away games each season. Some of those games are as far as Dumfries and even as far as Belfast.
I and 16 others (kids mostly) from the club are running the Baxter's 5k River race on September the 24th in an attempt to raise awareness of our club (we will be wearing our hockey tops) and via this crowdfunding hopefully some funds to help pay for bus hire for games. Give us a wave if you see us out running on Sunday. Thanks for your interest.

Woohoo!! Awesome thanks to all you kind donaters, we all got through the 5K, a first for some, a breeze for others, but all in all happy teamates completed the event. We have raised a healthy amount altogether and it really will help the club to keep the travel costs down and help to keep our team playing. Thanks again from Hamish and I and all at our club.
