I will be climbing the tallest peaks in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland at the beginning of May. This includes:

Snowdon (1,085 m or 3,560 ft), in Wales , Scafell Pike (978 m or 3,209 ft), in England , Ben Nevis (1,344 m or 4,406 ft), in Scotland , Slieve Donard (849 m or 2,786 ft), in Northern Ireland , Carrauntoohil (1,038 m or 3,406 ft), in the Republic of Ireland

I'm completing this challenge along with a work colleague in order to raise funds for his niece in Sri-Lanka who has suffered from a hereditary blood disorder known as Thalassemia major since birth, a crippling disease with debilitating symptoms that can be fatal within 10 years of a child's life. Thufa is now 7 years old so this outcome is looking more and more likely.

The only cure is a bone marrow transplant, not available in Sri-Lanka and will cost over £60,500. The funds I raise will contribute to funding the operation.
