Story
In 2019 4000 British Scouts will join Scouts from all over the World in West Virginia, America for 24th World Scout Jamboree...and I am one of them! The 24th World Scout Jamboree will bring together Scouts from around the globe to experience new adventures, cultures, and friendships. But to get there I need to raise some money, lots of money. Its not as easy as Mum and Dad writing a cheque, all young people attending are expected to raise as much of the overall fee as possible, organising fundraising events. Over the next 18 months I will be doing lots to raise the fee, but as a start, a first step, here I go. Thanks

6 years agoOne year until the Jamboree, and we have reached 75% of the fundraising completed, but we still have that final 25% to go. Recent fundraising has seen Joshua at various fundays and fates, he is continuing the cycle challenge and has been selling bags of sweets with fellow Scouts. 6 years agoFundraising has been brill recently, bag packing at Tesco, Eurovision sweepstake and his cycling challenge. Still a long way to gp, but every penny, every pound gets him that bit closer.
