***PLEASE NOTE:- we will be CLOSING the page at the end of January to ensure Shannon and her family have the money for the memorial etc.***

In 2015 Anne received the devistating news that she had cancer. On the 26th December 2017 she sadly passed away in Northampton general hospital. At the time her son signed documents to have control over the arrangements. It was then discovered that Anne did not have a will. From then on her daughter Shannon received abuse and upset from her brother. She was told their father couldn’t attend Anne’s funeral and many of their family members for no reason, including Anne’s siblings. She was also not allowed to arrange anything to do with the funeral agreements despite Shannon having spoken to her Mum about it, and was told on the 8th January 2018 Anne would be cremated at 11am. On the morning of the 8th Shannon called the crem to check the funeral was still going ahead to which she was told the funeral was in fact happening now in secret. By the time they go to the crem they had all left and her wake was not disclosed either. They even lied to the undertakers to have her body released early. Shannon, her children and half of her family have not been able to grieve for Anne. Shannon and her family are now looking for closure and are trying to arrange some form of memorial service with her Mother’s ashes but due to her brother having signed the documents she will have to pay for a solicitor to receive a fraction of her Mother’s ashes. We are trying to raise money for Shannon and her family to pay for legal costs to hopefully receive her Mother’s ashes and pay for current and further legal proceedings that arise. We hope that Shannon and her brother can come to some form of agreement to share the ashes before legal action is needed either way the money will be put towards a memorial service with anyone welcome who would like to attend. This has been such a awful, horrendous ordeal for Shannon and her family and they have not been able to grieve for their Mother, Grandmother & Friend. Please can you donate to a family in need and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your kindest words and help xx
