Emilia was born on 7.9.2015 as a healthy, beautiful baby. Everything seems to by fine after birth. We came back home and enjoyed every moment together. She was smiling a lot and make a lot of sounds. We were so happy.

When she was 3 months we visited her aunt, who has a daughter 1 month younger than Emilia. We noticed she could move hands forward, reach toys etc. Our little girl couldn't... Her hands were very tight and closed for most of the time. This cause us some concerns.

We went to a doctor with Emilia. She referred us to a pediatrician. After 2 months we had an appointment. Emilia has had various blood test and a MRI scan. On follow up appointment we've been informed one part of Emilia's brain- Corpus Callosum is slender than should be. Doctors suspect some genetic condition, but to this day we have no diagnosis.

Emilia is 16 months now. She is not able to sit independently or push herself to sit, not able to crawl, to stand and walk. Her muscle tone is low and mainly impacted her upper body. Emilia also struggling with co- ordinated movements. She is not babbling yet. On a daily basis, we have exercises and stimulation to help get her stronger. 3 times a week we have private physiotherapy. Emilia receives NHS provided physiotherapy, however, this is only once a month which is not enough...
Despite all of this she is very happy and smiling child and our lovest precious.

We decided to set this web page to help our little angel by asking for your support.

We would like to go for 2-week block of intensive physiotherapy (including NDT Bobath Physio- therapy, Vojta Therapy, Neurologopedia Therapy, Hand Therapy and Sensory Integration Therapy) in Poland which could help her gain milestones and improve basic skills. 2-week therapy costs above 1 thousand pounds.

We don't know what the future hold but we have to do our best to make her life as easy and normal as possible.
