Lesley was a remarkable woman who showed such courage and strength. She gave nearly ten years of her time to Hillingdon Narrowboats Association. We would like to raise some funds in her memory to refurbish the bench overlooking the wharf and add a brass plaque, in her memory. Lesley often used to have her lunch on this bench overlooking us all, and we feel this would be a fitting place for us all to remember her.
