My Grandad was such an amazing, funny, caring person. At Christmas 2016 our world fell apart when Grandad was diagnosed with lung cancer. Due to many other health problems doctor's couldn't give grandad the treatment that was needed to help him. After 18months living with this dreadful disease Grandad was taken to St Peters where we thought that he wouldnt last the night. Grandad being the fighter that he was proved them wrong and held on for 2weeks. Unfortunately on the 3rd June 2018 Grandad was taken from us. Everyone that knows me and my Grandad knows how close we were. He was not only my grandad he was like a dad to me and a bestfriend. Grandads funeral will be on Monday 2nd July 2pm at Hanworth Crematorium. Instead of flowers I have decided to ask for donations so I can do something special in memory of this great man xxx
