Hi to all our family, friends, friends of friends and, anyone else who wants to help our cause.

This year Kim Healy and Paula Pegg (that’s us) have decided to put ourselves out for a good cause that is close to both of our hearts.

We have both been touched by the destruction that cancer can cause to our loved ones, and entire families. These include Kim’s mum and Paula's Nan plus others we have known and loved. So we have decided to fight back and punish ourselves by doing a 30 mile trek of the Pennine way in two days. We are doing this trek on 8th/9th of September to raise some funds for cancer research, and McMillan’s cancer support. The McMillan team were there when they were needed the most as both a rock and tower of strength. We hope with all of our hearts that maybe just maybe one of those pounds raised could be the one that finds a cure. It will be a tough challenge not a gentle stroll at all with plenty of pre training needed to ensure our success.
