Ever since I heard the news that my beautiful friend Ty had passed away, it feels like dark all the time. It was so sudden and I love and miss him so much. He never let on how poorly he was, always had a cheery smile and always did everything for everyone else before himself. I'm still in shock two weeks later and I still look out for him when I'm out and about. I don't think I'll ever get it around my head properly. I was thinking about arranging a sponsored walk from heysham Beach to Happy Mount Park in memory of him, and also to raise money to buy him something to remember him by. Maybe a bench somewhere that we can sit and talk to him. And if we raise enough money then we can send some to a charity. Maybe a diabetes one, in the hope that they will find a cure very soon so no one else has to suffer like Ty. Anybody can join in the walk and anybody can share this page and get sponsored. Maybe we can even get tshirts printed for it with a picture of Ty on. The more money we raise the better for such a beautiful person.
