Story
hello all!
Myself & 20 others some overweight, some fit ,some unfit crocked and injured men & women will be running (well, attempting to run) the Newport Half Marathon on the 6th March 2022. Some of us have never ran one before also some have never attempted any sort of running.
We are doing it to raise funds and awareness to support Mike & Zoe Palmer’s daughter, Laiah Palmer who has sadly been diagnosed with Leukaemia. We decided the funds would go directly to Mike and his family to try and make such a difficult time for them just a little bit easier how ever they decide to use it. I cannot imagine what they are going through at the moment so we would like to show our support for the brave Laiah and family.
We will be having drinks after the half marathon in Hortons to make sure the liquids are taken back on board, also our very own Jack Perret will be playing an Acoustic set for us, everyone welcome. we will try and raise a few more funds and have a few drinks to take the pain away from the knees.
Please share, support and dig deep and donate for a great cause if possible
Thank you.
