Garvie is a 7 year old boy at my kids primary school who has been battling leukaemia since last year. So far his treatment hasn't been successful and the doctors now want to send him for treatment to Italy and they need to try and raise the money to do this.

I will be swimming a mile over Loch Lomond at the great Scottish swim on 25th August and thought that this would be a good opportunity to try and raise some money for Garvie.
