Story
The student nurses of USW are fundraising individually to fund a trip to the country of Belarus which is run by 'leaves of hope' charity, preventing them from being abandoned and improving the environment in orphanages for those who have been abandoned. Belarus is landlocked between Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine
As a student nurse I will be raising funds that will assist me in getting to Belarus to support children ages 3 - 6yrs of age who have been social abandoned. I will spend 1 week with fellow nursing students helping the staff make the orphanage a home, and providing the children with love and hugs that are few and far between.
