I am aiming to help my mam and friend to raise some much needed funds for the Chernobyl Children's Trust charity. My mam and friend are host families for some of the children lucky enough to make the trip to Ireland for a couple of weeks during the summer months.

The organisation aims to help impoverished children living in contaminated & disadvantaged areas of Belarus. They support the vitally important work of the Children’s Oncology Centre in Belarus where children and young adults with various cancers receive life-saving treatments. They work in partnership with community-based Belarusian organisations to carry out our programmes. These include: bringing children to Ireland for holidays with host families, the operation of essential programmes in Belarus for the advocacy and support for disabilities, poverty and sickness and the promotion of health and community development for marginalised children and their families across disadvantaged areas of the region.
