I have opened this page for my mother Joan Main here is her story;

I am raising money to give to the local palliative care unit, Redesdale Court, after sadly losing both my sister Anne who was only 53 and my mother who I miss terribly within three years, both having suffering dreadfully with Cancer.
The staff at Redesdale court were amazing, how they do this job every day and remain so upbeat, caring and compassionate with both patients and family members is unbelievable.
I feel that I wanted to do something in return of the brilliant work that goes on in this invaluable unit,
I am going to have my head completely shaved to raise much needed funds for the centre to use , so they can make each day easier to get through.
This is my way to say thank you, to a service that made an awful time in our lives the best it could be under the circumstances.

I wound be very grateful for any donations that will generally make a huge difference, to family's like my own in their most desperate hours, caring and trying to cope with the loss of their loved ones.
