Story
The Neonatal Unit at Doncaster Royal Infirmary provides intensive care, high dependency care and special care for babies born at 26-weeks gestation and above. The units' cot capacity is 18, three of which are designated intensive care cots. There are two nurseries with nine cot spaces in each. The unit has six parent rooms, two of which are double rooms.
A community nursing service operates from the unit providing an outreach service to support parents at home with a premature baby. Without the amazing team of of people that work on this ward our beautiful baby boy would not have made the amazing advances he has after being born 10 weeks early. The team need new equipment to help them to continue their amazing work.
