So this year I am competing in both ironman Austria in July and ironman wales in September although it's a bit late on I would like to try and raise some money for the jack k Johnstone foundation. Now, jacks dad Kevin is an old friend of mine who I haven't seen for a while as he moved back up north but after reading what what he and all his family went through over the years with jack, and then eventually losing him last year to cystic fibrosis was just heartbreaking. The boy put up the strongest of fights but in the end it finally got to him. The fact Kevin and his wife Tina have set up this foundation in his name is amazing and hopefully it can go some way to helping other kids like jack by giving them treats to help ease all the other worries.
