Story
The Mrs Clause appeal was started in 2020 when Louise set out to make a difference to the most deprived children and families at Christmas time in Ayrshire. Every penny raised goes towards providing a Christmas day dinner and gifts for those children that would otherwise go without.
This summer Louise‘s husband will lead a team of 9 officers from Police Scotland and The Royal Navy in a 24 hour hike across the Isle of Arran. Commencing on the evening of Friday 28th July the team will walk non stop through the day and night across some of the most gruelling terrains the island has to offer.

10 months agoSo today is the day! Some of the team set off early this morning taking a car over with supplies for the well deserved after party on Saturday evening, one of the teams parents kindly allowed them the use of their cottage on the island. Thanks for the donations that are still coming, much appreciated by Mrs Claus 🤶 and the team. I’m sure you wish them a safe hike. This fundraiser will support so many families and make a huge difference to so many children and families living in poverty. Again from Mrs Claus 🤶 and the team THANKS 🙏 xxx

10 months agoThis time tomorrow the team will be 9.5 hours into the hike and no doubt exhausted but still determined. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far it’s much appreciated. Thanks to Abbey screen Printing for doing the team T-shirts and for Asda Irvine who donated some essentials for the team. I’ll be posting updates tomorrow as I get them. 🤶
