I have been selected to take part in a Citizens Initiative Fellowship in Accra, Ghana. This Fellowship will offer and intensive training on how to strategically and sustainably implement a proposed idea geared towards the development of communities and societies.
My proposed project is to analyse parenthood in Ghana, laws and policies available for this purpose and how well they are functioning.
Coming from the Northern part of Ghana, I have witnessed how most young people have made a lot of wrong choices and end up marring their future because of the lack of parental guidance and I believe it is time to be deliberate about the upbringing of the next generation of African Leaders. This project is one that is very dear to my heart and I am counting on your support to cover my transportation and conference fees.
