Story
"I Like To Go to The Hospital" is a joyful book written and created by a 4 year old to help other children going through hospital treatment. All copies are going to be published through this campaign is will be donated Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.
Do you know how many of the families who battle with life threatening illness get to the point of giving up? For this reason we are asking your help!
By supporting this project you will help carry out her hopeful message to the children and their families and, help to donate copies to the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.
Our Story..
We are Lydia’s parents, Selen and Ozgur, or if you ask Lydia we are her favourite dance partners!
Our dancing sunshine Lydia is a joyful warrior even if she is only 4 years old. Last year during a visit to our country from Scotland, she started being sick with a fever. We went to the hospital clueless and we weren’t able to leave it for a while. Lydia, only 3,5 then, was diagnosed Leukaemia.
Here is not the part where our story gets dramatic; at least we won’t share with you the hardest parts. We want to share with you Lydia’s message and her incredible inspirational book even for us, adults.
Even with her heavy hospital and medical treatments didn’t make Lydia loose her motivation to dance, to paint and to cheer up everyone around her. Today we are at the 12th month of her treatment and she continues to get chemotherapy every day, it will last till 2018.
During her treatment, Lydia started a journal. She turned these stories and drawings in to a book : “ I LIKE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL” : she says “Parents should be funny and children shouldn’t be afraid of hospitals. Because…” and she is very excited sharing her words and joyful drawings with children around the world and helping them to feel better :)

We are Lydia's parents who met at the tango night 10 years ago, as ballet dancer Selen and captain Ozgur, got married in 3 months and had our dancing fairy Lydia at 2012. Lydia is under leukaemia treatment since 2015, which hopefully will be ended in 2018.
