Story
I am heading over to Madagascar at the end of November to look after orphans. Madagascar has a growing population 60% of which can now be defined as living in extreme poverty. This percentage is even higher in rural populations and remote areas.
Madagascar’s remote communities are home to thousands of underprivileged children, who suffer from poverty, neglect and poor health. Children's opportunities to progress in life are often thwarted by their lack of motivation to continue in education.
I will be going out to Madagascar to help educate the children, look after them, build them safe secure homes and give them the love and support they need. The children have been born massively disadvantaged and deserve to have the same support, love, education & opportunities as any child should.
I will be updating my journey through out social media and hope you can all follow my story and go and visit at one point yourselves.
I will be going out there by myself to meet the GAPYEAR organisation who have set this up, if any of you are interested please check out their website https://www.gapyear.com/
The trip is going to cost me around £2,100 all money will be going to the charity and any amount of donation will be amazing and valued.
