The bereavement suites at The Leicester General Hospital & The Leicester Royal Infirmary provides parents going through the dreadful ordeal of losing a baby with the respect and sensitivity they need whilst feeling safe in peaceful surroundings.

The outstanding facilities include:
- home from home environment;
- fully clinically functioning room;
- set away from the sights and sounds of live birth;
- facilities to provide care for deceased baby in close proximity.

The suites ensure that the bereaved family feel that the time with their baby is unhurried, protected from external influences, and in a safe, private environment.

I lost my sweet little baby girl Mala on 18th November 2017, and the facility of the suites and staff was invaluable. I cannot praise them enough.
