In Loving Memory of Margaret Warhurst

Our amazing wife, mother and grandmother was taken from us too soon by lung cancer. She was a wonderful friend to so many and a true inspiration with her strength, bravery and determination to live many precious months beyond her prognosis. She will live in our hearts forever.

To honour her life and memory we’d like to give back to those who treated and cared for her with such compassion and became friends to us all. The Cecilia Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital offered her a chance to receive life prolonging treatment in a unique environment under the care of Dr Yvonne Summers. Several times she was also an inpatient at the attached pulmonary oncology unit where she spent her final weeks.

We ask for only family flowers at her funeral and instead ask you to extend your generosity to us making a difference to these amazing people as her part of her legacy.
