As a few of you may well know, my dad recently passed away following his battle with bowel cancer. Throughout his treatment in the last year my dad spent a large portion of his time on the onlcology ward, as hard and painful his treatment became the staff on the ward was amazing.
Although the treatment was unsuccesull the staff were professional, sensitive and always there to provide a listening ear.

So this October i have signed up to run/walk/crawl the Great Eastern Run, probably not the smartest idea as im old and unfit, but in doing so i am hoping to raise some money to give back to those who helped my Dad in one of the hardest times in his life.
To help all those in years to come to recieve the amazing service and treatment my dad experienced.
