Kingswood played against Masiphumelele RFC on our last sports tour, and we were all blown away by how warm, welcoming & friendly the people at the club were. Masi RFC is located in a disadvantaged & poor community in Cape Town, but through the amazing work of Head Coach, Frank Charlie, the club is making wholesome waves in the community. Frank uses sport to provide the young people of Masi with hope, joy, and mentorship. The community is at the heart of everything the club does. An example of this is when they recently paired up with the local netball team to make a stand against the violence women & children were experiencing in their community. Frank and the club are always extremely grateful for the support from the Kingswood community.

Due to COVID-related circumstances, we may not be able to have as many pupils playing in our fundraising touch rugby festival this year. This is unfortunate, but we are hoping that through this JustGiving page our fund-raising won't cut off the funding that Masiphumelele RFC uses to make a positive difference in their community.
