    Story

On 26th April 2022 after many tests and scans, our beautiful, smiley boy, Dude was diagnosed with 4H Leukodystrophy POLR3B. This is a rare degenerative disease that affects the nervous system and means he will slowly lose the ability to walk, talk, hear, eat or do anything for himself.

It will come to a point where we will never see our smiley boy, smile or laugh again. Our hearts break as there is no cure for this life-shortening and cruel disease.

He is only 3 years old.

We have set up this page to allow anyone to donate and help us give him the best life that he so deserves, in the time that we get to spend with him.

My mum has also been referred to a specialist in Amsterdam to examine Dude and help us to understand what is actually going to happen to him and how we can make life more comfortable for him when this awful disease progresses.

Many people have offered to set up fundraisers and events to help raise money for this and for any other financial difficulties that may come with Dude's condition. We are so grateful for this and cannot thank you enough.

Thanks for reading, if you want to keep updated on Dude's journey or buy awareness accessories to help spread awareness of 4H Leukodystrophy POLR3B please visit - Awareness & Fundraising FB Page

Everyone knows that my mum, Kerrie Sutton, is the kindest and most generous person who will help anyone out of the dark, and now she needs our help ❤️

We are so amazed and overwhelmed by all of the support received so far! We have so many events coming up that will help smash targets we never even dreamed of. Therefore we are increasing our goal to ÂŁ30,000 with at least ÂŁ5,000 going to the Yaya Foundation who are researching into this awful disease and aiming for a cure. đź’™ https://yayafoundation4hl.org/
