    Story

I am organising an 8 hour walkathon on the 26th of September. During the walkathon, I will be walking around London together with other teenagers who are passionate about helping others. We will give any homeless person we see sandwiches, snacks, bananas, toiletries, masks, puzzle books etc. If you are interested in helping out on the day please check out my previous instagram post @stuffthatneedstochange.

To double the good deeds I am also fundraising for three charities (other two charities Just Giving pages are in the links below)

    1. 'Hands of Hope, Romania'

Work with Romany orphan children in different neighbourhoods in Romania

They provide support such as teaching children to read and write, offering material and financial support during higher education, offering counselling support, providing food parcels etc.

The Romany communities have been struggling a lot with COVID-19, the demand for food parcels has had a huge increase, and the charity is struggling to help as much as they would like to

The charity has had to suspend all of their work other than delivering food parcels.

I was meant to volunteer and work with the children this summer, but unfortunately due to COVID-19 I couldn’t go, so if I can't actively be there I would at least like to try and help the charity get back on their feet!

    2. 'The Sutton Trust': an educational charity that attempt to address the educational disadvantage of students from disadvantaged backgrounds

    3. 'LAPIS: London Accessible Psychotherapy Independent Service: counselling service for people with physical and learning disabilities

Any support/ donations (big or small) would be really appreciated! I feel really passionate about each charity I am fundraising for, they are all so important for enhancing a just, happy world. :)
