Our youngest cousin was suffering from a very rare form of cancer. Before he passed away on Tuesday 25th August 2020, he created a charity which has been entitled The Ben Saunders Foundation. The foundation has the aim of helping children and families who are going through similar circumstances, to have the ability to have a weekend away in a holiday home, or anything else that may help them.

Across the past three weeks, many members of the family and the local community have been coming together to raise as much money as possible for BSF. There have been events such as Cake Sales, Fitness Classes and Head Shaves to name a few, where We (Mike and Dan) have both participated as I am sure you would've all seen on Social Media, Zoom or in the office to name a few places where you would've seen us.

Next up, we are walking Hadrians Wall in October across 4 days. The 85 mile wall, will be walked over a 4 day period, which will be an average of about 21 miles a day. This is going to be extremely challenging, but worth every last bit of energy in memory of our little baby cousin who set up BSF to assist other children and teenagers moving forward. Any donations from friends, colleagues and anybody else reading this will be much appreciated.

What an inspiration to us all Ben has been - a true unsung hero. We will continue your legacy for years to come.
